A Fruedenfest Adventure

Any weekend is a good weekend for a festival. Fruedenfest, a cute little German festival,  takes place in a cute little German town, in the rural Indiana countryside. We stuffed ourselves with delicious Indiana fried chicken, drank our fill of German beers, and sang to all the goofy little German songs. It was a blast.

An Independence Day Adventure In Sandusky

It was a beautiful weekend on Lake Erie. For a New England girl, a mid-summer getaway to the beach is exactly what I needed. Long and lazy days basking in sunshine, enjoying the local flare at Americana themed bars, and having a root beer float for the first time in years. We had a beautiful time.
