Sam and I have been very busy this fall and the posts have dwindled, my apologies. We have had a particularly adventurous December. In fact, just last week we ventured down to New Orleans for a bit of fun with some dear Peace Corps friends.
I had never been to New Orleans and was instantly drawn to the the beautiful french architecture. The city uniquely brings together history, culture, and music. Music flows through the city and can be found anywhere from historic venues such as Preservation Hall, or a hole-in-the-wall dive bar, to a street corner, the city moves to the beat of it's own unique sound. And, for the weekend we too moved to the beat of the city.
And, since it's December I wish you merry everything my friends!
