The grand finale of our trip; Machu Picchu. On the fourth day of our trek we awoke early and made our way to this historic city tucked in between the peaks. When we arrived the city was entirely covered in clouds. We couldn't see five feet in front of us it was simply clouded whiteness. After trekking for four days I was emotionally drained and the cloud forest that we were engulfed in made me lose faith that we would be able to fully take in the grandeur of Machu Picchu. After throwing a quiet prayer up into the foggy air the clouds began to part and the view, the view was magnificent.

Peru was a wonderful adventure that we were blessed to experience together. Who knows where our adventures will lead next. The best part is getting to experience these new places around the world together.
